Video Review: Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams

0

After backing the game on Kickstarter I thought I should play and review the game. To cut things short I was really impressed.

Seven minute of gameplay video which I talk over and score the game. I also go into the history of the series and how far the game has come in terms of consistency and distancing itself from it’s Mario-clone roots.

Apologies for my voice, I had a terrible cold when I recorded this! Please subscribe to the Youtube channel and “Like” the video, it helps a lot.

I’ve been working on the setup necessary to do gameplay vids decently for some time, and have quite a backlog of recorded video. There are still some hiccups and hurdles to get over, but this is a start!

Bring on the games!

Far Cry 3 has to be one of the most fun games ever to just mess around in.

The narrative focuses on the interaction between characters and how they cope with the breakdown of society. Its closest approximation is George Romero’s classics if they went on forever in a constant loop of despair, More >

GameBlob’s Halloween Top 13

Halloween is upon us! Pumpkins! Costumes! Sweets! Scary stuff!

What spooky, creepy or otherwise nasty games would I recommend here at Gameblob? The criteria are simple, they have to be games from this console generation, or from within the last 5 years on the PC. This isn’t just a list of “survival horror” games and it’s certainly not a top list of the scariest. Not everyone wants to be traumatised by their games.  Whether you’re up for some cute monster mayhem or something psychologically deep, there’s something here for all tastes.  (more…)
